A ROYAL TREE
FOR ROYALTY
On Friday 10th June, the whole school celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday by holding a Street Party & an afternoon of fun & games.
The occasion was also marked by the official planting of an oak tree.
The tree was planted by the eldest member of each class along with Mr Banks & Miss Birkett.
The tree was recently purchased by our Year 3 class during their visit to Boscobel House. It is claimed that our own little sapling is a direct descendant from King Charles’ famous oak at Boscobel.
