Christmas Fair

Christmas Fair

On Wednesday 14th December Redhill Primary hosted their annual Christmas Fair. Planning for the event began a while ago and much work has been done by staff, pupils, friends and parents over the last few weeks to ensure it’s success.
The school hall was transformed into a Christmas grotto in double quick time, an especially good feat as Christmas lunch had been served earlier, with a host of stalls and games available. These included several raffles and tombolas, tattoos and face painting, lucky bags, balloons, book stalls, a range of delicious snacks including Dominos Pizzas, a grand raffle and a range of games devised by Year 6 pupils.
At 2.30pm the doors opened for the hoardes to arrive and spend their money and this they did in abundance enjoying the bargains and fun to be had.
Prior to the event some Year 6 pupils contacted local businesses by letter to ask for their support and Redhill would like to formally thank:
Katie’s Cards (Hednesford),
Tesco (Hednesford),
Amanda Milling MP,
Dominos Pizzas (Cannock),
Aspire People Supply agency
for their most generous donations in support of the event. Once the event was over and the monies counted a total of £1044 was raised, which will be used to provide resources and opportunities for our pupils. Thanks to everyone who gave their support in any way.
